Wasting Money...

Just recently I've become aware that I'm wasting money, namely on things I don't want or need and can't work out why. I'm not depressed or lacking something, just buying silly things I think I need at that time, I also take a packed lunch but always buy something from the hospital vending machine which really adds up.

We're not rich but comfortable so it's not having an effect on finances but if I didn't do this I could save more.

Is it just me or are there others out there?

I've been doing the same such as buying a personalised number plate that is a waste of money (aren't they all), plus looking at a replacement car that will cost a lot more and I don't need, and my wife never even uses her car now she is working from home full time.

I'm also not rich but with the little interest I'm getting on my savings I might as well spend it😀

I never buy anything I don't need.

Says me typing at my desk looking at my new £8 phone stand.

My dd is 18 next week. I’ve bought a pink pig piñata, a balloon arch, bunting and decorations, plates, napkins, sweets to put in mason jars, mason jars, piñata stick, sash and tiara, cocktail umbrellas and more, plus presents, dh is going to have a fit when he’s seen the card statement I might rip it up and pretend the dog got it!

Having cleared the cupboard under the stairs I amterrible at buying the same thing over and over. Mind you sorting my clothes was similar, how many black vest tops and black shrugs does one woman need?

I really was missing Pilates so I orderd a Pilates ring. By the time it finally arrived I had lost my enthusiasm, plus it came without instructions so that is now under my other stairs.
