Funny story but not at first

I been with BT for over 18 years with very little problems had a few but nothing bad then last Friday my hub went off fine I thought it come back but after a couple of hours it did not so I called them and got though had a chart and the gent said there is a problem we fix it so I said that’s fine how long 24 to 48 hours he said but we send you a mini hub fine I said I got a email on my mobile using my data saying we activated your mini hub emm I thought what mini hub so I called them back and the Yong lady said the one we sent you last year no I said I sent that back ok she said I will check came back and said sorry at this movement we not sending out mini hubs due to COVID ok I said she said so sorry I said not the end of the world as she was from the Wales cal, centre I said I know Cardiff quite well told her where and that we where there a few weeks back she said I know Barry island very well and we just chased she said so sorry that you be with out the internet I said well not the end of the world and I said bye a few hours later the hub came back to life and I checked my emails there where a couple from bt and one that said your pre payed gift card will be with you within 2 weeks I called the number and they said no not a con by have sent you a gift cardb no idea how much or when it will come but my internet was off for less then a day all’s well that ends well

Just a update I got 20.00 pound so not bad I treat Maria with some chocolates 😂
