Which route should we take?
In the past we've driven the route via our sat nav via Reims (all toll). It's always taken us over 4 hours yet everyone on here says they take 3 when they drive, so which route do you all take? We want to avoid Paris!

I haven't driven for a few years, but I think we used to go: A26 towards Arras, then the A1 towards Paris, then A104 then the A4 to Disney. If you go on Google maps, it should show you this route.

A26 then A1 for us too. It's the most direct route.

the A104 (otherwise known as la Francilienne) is a bit of a race track and quite a narrow laned dual carriageway, we prefer to be on it outside of rush hour
as you come down the A1 you will go under the runway at Charles de Gaulle, quite impressive if a jumbo jet happens to be trundling across as you go through the tunnel |

Drove to DLRP a couple of weeks ago, and the drive in France took about 3.5 hours. Route was A26/E15, A1, A3, A104, A4. The A1 was a lovely road, smooth and empty. As a previous poster said the A104 was a bit hectic and the surface really needs looking at in some places, especially on the inside lane!. Our drive time was around 3.5 hours, but I did have to stop for a while to sort out an issue with an engine warning message! Tolls were €21.70 each way.
