Hotel New York Characters
Hi all
Have I read somewhere that there are characters at breakfast at this hotel? If so, who please? Thanks Sarah

We didn't see any during our stay there in January this year and I don't recall seeing anything advertised in the hotel about it. We did go to breakfast early each day, so may have missed them if they did turn up later. I know that characters are available outside of the restaurants in the Disneyland hotel at breakfast time.

They used to make an appearance daily in all of the hotels. However in November of last year, all characters were removed from all hotels and instead you can now meet (some of) them in the park(s) during Extra Magic Hours.
Castle Club in the Disneyland Hotel is the only exception to this rule as they still have characters every day, during breakfast time. |

O, ok thanks, that's a shame. Was hoping to see characters at hotel so that didn't have to go to Café Mickey's to see them, since the new set menu doesn't really appeal to me
I know we could see them in the park but was trying to see them without having to queue for ages

We always get to the park for 8am EMH and the park is practically empty.

unfortunately since the characters are there from 8am now, its not practically empty in the character queue lines . Even arriving at around 8.10am on a Monday morning in December, before the school holidays started, we still had to wait in the rain for over 30 minutes to meet Mickey and Minnie.

Well, I guess that's what DLP wanted. It's expensive to open the park for just a few people, so they want them in and spending money!
