Mobile Wal mart on first night.

Staying on site and can't decide if we should go to wal mart on our first night there or not... I do like wal mart but I just think there's better things we could all be doing... What do you all think.

I think we plan on doing Walmart on the first night. Never have done the parks or anything as soon as we get to the hotel.
Personally I think it’ll just be nice to spend that time getting some bits for the next couple of weeks so then you can use the other days to have fun!

I did Walmart on my first night last year. It was a very strange experience! I think it was the combination of the enormous size of it, the strip lighting and extreme tiredness meant I couldn’t think straight. I came home with such a random assortment of things that DH says I’m not allowed to go this year. 🤣

Just arrived and just been to Walmart!

Good way to stay awake on the first night.

Just basics for next mornings breakfast and lunch - muffins bagels spread cheese ham milk tea and coffee. I go whilst the others unpack and whilst papa John's is being delivered. The "big shop" is done by all the following evening and that's when the damage is done! Too big and too tired to do anything but basics on arrival night.

Judgement call upon arrival. So many unquantifiable factors to consider, such as delays at airports.

Ultimately, your holiday, your choice.

We go to villa; then head off to Walmart (other supermarkets are available) to do a basic shop; milk; bread; butter; cereal etc, and something for tea/supper. Do the proper shop the next day. We tend to fly on a Saturday so have Sunday to chill and go food shopping, as the parks are usually so busy at a weekend.

I have to admit, I go to supermarket on 1st night just to get basics, and like some one has said it helps stay awake longer
