WDW 50th birthday!

I’m 40 in 2021 so we are doing a split stay. Week on site and week in a villa.
I’ve just booked the villa, now fingers crossed for free dining or it will be renting points.
We are going in May so not quite around the actual birthday though.

Fabulous, dh won’t do two weeks of DDP, moans about it being too much food! I keep saying you don’t have to eat it all.
I hope free dining will be on and the refurb will completed so we can get a 1 bed at ssr otherwise it will be okw as we need 5 beds and separate room as my mum will be with us.

Have you seen the pictures with the additional Murphy bed at ssr?

Half term is very late for us in 2021. We won’t fly out until 27th May so suppose are June really.

No I’ve not seen them?! We’re hoping for a 2 bed at OKW ☺️ My birthday is 16/5 so hoping for then which should coincide with school hols as well!

We are at some point of the celebrations.

Do we have dates of anything yet? I need to plan around my youngest's graduation and finishing Dance College, so I don't yet know what time of year - it depends how long they are celebrating.

Would love a two bed but not seen any availability this year for them.

Would like to go earlier in May too but unfortunately tied to school hols. I think it’s to do with whit bank holiday Monday not being until 31st May. Worth checking School holiday dates if you can.

Me! I’m 50 on August my 1st so thinking after this Dec/Jan visit we’ll wait until Jul/ Aug 2021 - I’m hoping celebrations are started by then as I’d like to be there for my actual 50th!

I saw availability on disneyholidays for 16-30/5/2020 from 28th July this year and it was showing on there for around two weeks ☺️ Worth keeping an eye out! We don’t have our school hol dates yet unfortunately but hopefully it’ll coincide - 2020 they’re off w/c 25/5 so would be looking at taking DS out the week before the hols and then the hol week!

The problem is that 1st October 2021 is the actual date and until Disney announce it, no-one knows when the celebrations will start. It might not be until 1st October onwards and then go on say until the end of 2022.
