Disney Partner Hotels and 60 day FP
Hi. We weren’t going to do Disney this year, but the lure of Galaxy’s Edge seems too strong to resist
I’m thinking of booking a couple of nights at one of the Partner hotels, mainly for the 60 day FP benefit. Does anyone know how you link the booking to your MDE account? I’ll probably book via Hotels.com using some Tesco clubcard vouchers. Thanks

Hi
At the moment I don't think you can FP either ride in Galaxy's Edge, you have to join a Boarding Group which you can only do once actually in the park. Someone will sure correct me if I'm wrong but certainly for Smugglers Run its a Boarding Group (which have been booked up within an hour of park opening) not a FP That may change though going forward Julie

Thanks, understand that GE rides are not FP at the moment - but keeping fingers crossed for Smugglers Run. It was more for FOP and 7DMT with the 60 day FP. Do you know how to link hotel to MDE?

I've booked a partner hotel through Expedia before, so not exactly the same, but just contacted the hotel directly after booking and they gave me the number to link to MDE.

You get the reservation number and go through the linking process on MDE, same as with a Disney hotel.
However a stay of a night or two might not help with the hard to get fast passes. I have never been able to get FOP until about day three, Slinkydog can be longer, it was not available until day six in February last year. The 7DMT is probably the easiest, I have never got it on day one but I think I have on day two. |

Smugglers Run is queue only, no fastpass, but of course that could change.
Rise of the Resistance is Boarding Group only, no fastpass, but that will one day change. I cannot help you on when either may go Fastpass. The good news is Mickey and Minnies’ Runaway Railway, which I think will be a huge sleeper hit due to the innovative tech, could be Fastpass as soon as it opens.
