Caribbean Beach Resort

Can any one tell me if the preferred rooms are near all the amenities eg bus stop and food court etc. I’m looking for September 2021 and if anyone has any views on the property positive or negative, I would love to hear. Thanks for any help.

I think they are.

We loved the resort. I read lots of complaints about it being so far to walk but it really wasn't that bad. We were the opposite side of the resort to the pool and restaurant but really enjoyed the short walk over the little island.

There are actually several bus stops around the resort so you aren't too far from one either way.

Yes preferred would be near amenities. I didn’t like the sprawled out nature of the resort, it was a ten to fifteen minute walk to the main reception area. I prefer to be able to take a lift to reception not a bus or walk in 35 deg and 98% humidity. That said, our fault for picking it, I haven’t been to a sprawled our resort before and probably underestimated the distances. I did a review of it after our visit, it has its good points too which I have covered in that. Overall, I thought it was ok.

I’m interested to on the location of a preferred room. I suppose wondering the ones that are close to pool/ food but also Skyliner is best location.

My only hesitancy is the rooms as I feel they look ready for a refurb. Coronado rooms look so lovely now they have been done. Wondering if pop may be better option...what do I get at the Caribbean that I wouldn’t get at pop? Thank you

I stayed at CBR last August in a preferred room. Loved the room and loved the resort and as we were in a preferred room in Barbados, we were 5 min walk from one of the main bus stops and 5-10 mins from Old Port Royale and the main pool.

It is a fab resort and would highly recommend!

Indeed, I stayed last week and can confirm that they still run regularly to MK and AK but Epcot and HS now have an hourly service.

Thanks so much for all your opinions, I think POFQ would be the best choice for us, depends on prices, but I won’t rule out any moderate until I see prices and hope the QS might be offered free. I really appreciate all your replies.
