Umbrella or poncho ?

Ok guys what the general consensus ? I've always gone with a poncho but I am pondering on a travel umbrella ? Pros and cons ?

Poncho every time rather than poking someones eye out! Or get your hair caught in the spoke of someones umbrella as I did !

I was thinking of taking an umbrella but if it rains during a parade I don't want to block anyone's view with an umbrella so I'm taking a poncho.

Poncho out of your choices but tbh I’d take a very light rain jacket. I learnt the hard way on May how rubbish ponchos are! My niece had a brolly and that was even more of a pain!

Poncho every time. Umbrellas should be banned under health and safety. Why people want to walk around carrying a lightning conductor I'll never understand.
