If you avoid commute hours and stick to surface streets for getting from attraction to attraction once in LA it’s not that bad. On weekends it’s fine and at night (after 8pm) it’s very quiet.

We have just returned from an Easter trip to Disneyland. I got three day hopper tickets from Expedia. We stayed at the Best Western Stovall inn and walked to DL. We did get max pass and just used the fast passes. We got to the parks at opening time and did every ride more than once. We did the incredi coaster 5 times. We all loved DL and my DH more so than WDW.

How did you find the Best Western, as this is where we’re looking to stay. Is it a about a 10 minute walk to the parks?

We are here at the moment, we came for 10 nights, 5 nights in Hollywood where we did all the sights including Universal and Warner Bros. We didn’t hire a car, just used Uber and haven’t found the traffic too bad. We have now moved over to Disneyland. We bought our tickets from Undercover Tourist as they were the cheapest at the time. We did the World of Color dessert party yesterday which was amazing.
