June or July 2025 please?

Hi Guys,
We haven't been since 2018 (had a trip booked April 2020 which was obv cancelled)

We are looking to go for 16 or 17 nights in 2025.

We have 2 options..
to do it after ds GCSEs which end 19th June
Or
To do it after 10 July.

Please could you guys give me pros and cons as I have never been either of these times...main priorities for us would be how busy the parks are!

Thanks so much and good to be back xx

Firstly not much difference in weather, the temperatures and rainfall is about the same.

The dibb historical crowd calculators show there is not that much difference either, both are in US school holidays.
This year possibly July was a little quieter, but a lot of people have been commenting that this was unusual, last year June / July looked much of a muchness.

I would be basing it on what is more convenient for you and pricing.

I think you'll possibly get better pricing on flights in June. I went from end of June until Aug in 2022 and it got progressively busier to closer to the end of July. Plus it was hotter too.

Im going mid May to mid June next year. It is a lot rainier in June

It’s also worth considering if you want to do epic universe.

If you do then maybe booking July gives you a better chance of it being open.

If you don’t then maybe booking June allows you to potentially avoid the opening busy period!

There’s no date announced yet though, but I’m just chucking that out there as some additional food for thought.

I know your got to go during the school holidays but could you go the last 2 weeks in August as then most of the American school kids have gone back. But can see that the prices will be more as the kids finish on the 18th July next year.

We went July 3rd-July 18th this year and we definitely noticed the crowds increasing the second week so I would lean towards June...unless as Rescuer has said your hoping to do Epic.

Just a thought as a GCSE parent next year myself. Have you considered prom dates if this is something relevant to you.
