All you can eat buffet recommendations?

Hi folks, looking your thoughts and opinions on the best place(s) for a buffet style lunch or dinner please. Though a decent setting and atmosphere are important, quality and good choice of food more so.

Our party will consist of four adults, who will eat most things and two children aged five and two, maybe with a somewhat restricted diet as kids.

My number 1 favourite is Hunter's Grill at Sequoia Lodge. Had something for everyone. Also we stayed there, so was great to get there after a park day and eat and relax before bed...

Yes that's where I was leaning to Bondy007, plus it would be on our way back to where we're staying at Santa Fe.

Did you find it relatively relaxed or a bit busy and manic, as some of these buffets can be?

Love your name btw 😁

From memory, we ate there 2 or 3 times over a 4 night stay (thats how much we enjoyed it!) and how manic and busy it is depends on the time. The first time was particularly busy (earlyish dinner) but picking a later dinner time, while fireworks etc. were starting was a lot more peaceful.

Well everyone says that downtown is the best. In the marvel hotel. I'll find out soon.

The hotel buffets are only open for dinner, not lunch.

In the parks, Plaza Gardens is a decent buffet (no characters st lunch so cheaper than dinner). Cafe Agrabah is great for Middle Eastern food (it does have pasta and pizza too).

Pym Kitchen is a decent buffet in Studios.

I have done both Hunters and Downtown in the last couple of years. I didn’t mind Downtown at all but Hunters was a better buffet and more enjoyable overall in my opinion.

I was staying at the New York hotel when I went to Downtown. I thought it was quite good, but I wouldn’t bother to go back to unless I was staying there again, in which case I may well do.

I was not staying at Sequoia but went over to Hunters and I would definitely go out of my way to go back there again.

My photos and reviews written at the time.

Downtown

Hunters

When we stayed at Davy Crocket (a bit away from the park) my goodness what a buffet dinner.

The nicest quality food we ever had for a buffet. Desserts in particular, but everything in general. We rolled out of there back to our cabins... did not go swimming that night!

I like Hunters Grill for an evening too. Can be packed, as can all the restaurants, just depends when you go.

Pyms in the studios, Billybobs in the village, La Cantina in Santa Fe but that is Mexican themed. Hunters was very very busy and noisy so that put me off rather than the food.

Plaza is ok, wasn’t wowed by it. Agrabah my Dd who is a fussy eater struggled with.
