January crowd levels

Hi everyone,

Me and my partner are going to Disney this month and I was just wondering what the crowd level will be like. I am guessing it will be quieter than usual but with the rise of the resistance opening i am worried it will be quite busy.

Thank you

I suggest you use the busy day guide and historical queue times on the Dibb website.
Cant get better advise than historical data. Rise of the Resistance wont have much effect to other parks, but most parks including HS will be quiet during January weekdays.

The crowd level will vary across January. It will be very busy the first week before quietening down but then getting busy again by the last week of the month.

We are here at the moment and are walking on the rides. Not doing Disney though but apart from Harry Potter (still only half hour for escape from Gringotts) it’s much better than we thought. Even on Saturday we walked on all the Spider-Man rides.

Just back on Friday, (02/01-16/01) this was our first visit at this time of the year and found it extremely busy! At all the Disney parks once our 3 fast passes had been used we couldn’t get anymore for the remainder of the day, we’ve never experienced this before (usually visit Sept/Oct). We followed the touring plans guide and it was incorrect for many of the days (admitted this the following days on the website), days that they had as 5-6 turned out 8-9😡.
We still had a wonderful time but spent a lot of time away from the parks this year due to this.
