Fantasmic one or two shows per evening?
Hello, i am a little bit confused. I always see there is just one show of Fantasmic at 9.00 p.m.. But a lot of Dibbers write that they received a fastpass for the first showing at 7.30 when they had a dining package. Did they reduce the shows? Or are there still two showings per evening. We are going in August with two little ones, so an earlier show would suit us.
Does anyone know ? Thanks in advance |

Sometimes there are 2, sometimes 1. Depending on the date, time of year and if its peak or off peak season.
Remember the show can also be delayed or cancelled due to weather. Any lightening and its off. In October everyone was seated and the sky was clear, and then suddenly the sky clouded and it was announced the show was cancelled. No thunder happened and under 30 minutes announcements went out that the show was starting in 10 minutes.

I would always go to the first show if there are two. After we had Fantasmic cancelled on our first HS day and the next HS day they nearly cancelled it again. The lightning storms were very common for the last 2 weeks of August.
Also I would have a backup HS day in case Fantasmic is cancelled if seeing the show is a priority. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/par...?hours=08+2020 According to the schedule there is only one showing. Times vary between 8.30pm and 9pm. |

In August I think it is less likely there are two shows, because sunset is later it is at 9 in the earlier part of August then switches to 8.30 towards the end. As the park closing is also generally around this time they can’t do a second showing, though I think sometimes there might be a 10pm if they are open later.
Unfortunately a downside of August with little ones is all the nighttime shows are so late, whereas when we have been in February they are at easier times as the sun goes down earlier |

I also agree with AliceCooper that especially in August don’t leave it until the last night and have a back up plan. Last year we had to abandon the evening we originally planned to do it as there was a huge storm, then the night we did go it started raining just before, but luckily cleared up so it went ahead

Thank you so much. Just have to think about the next day. Cause if she is up till 10.30, she cannot get up at 6.00 the next morning (or would be not in a good mood 😏, but we go at the end of August, so I plan with 8.30 or 9.00
