So driving along minding my own business and in front of me at the lights was this plate

Anyone on here own it ?

I suspect it’s more likely to suppose to represent ‘diggers’

It is illegal but still readable so I doubt they will bother stopping it.
It's when the actually reg is indistinguishable they bother more.
It's obvious what this one reads.
We've spaced ours to spell things before and never been pulled up.

Doing that is illegal as it messes up ANPR systems. It, and your one ( if you still have it )will probably get stopped at some time in the future.
Can I ask how you get your car thro an MOT if it’s old enough of course? Change out for a legal pair of plates?
If you buy a show plate, which these are classed as, you now have to sign a declaration that you won’t use it on the road.

ANPR has not had issues for years now in reading oddly spaced plates. As this is now the case the likelihood of getting pulled has dropped significantly unless you give them some other reason to pull you over.
