A stupid magic band question

Hi
Sorry if this is a stupid question...we stayed at a Disney hotel September 2018 and were issued with our magic bands. These are still showing on our my Disney experience, we have now booked through Disney to stay on site for August 2020 (we are still waiting for the booking to link) but will we have to use our old magic bands or will we get new ones? Sorry for the stupid question!

You'll get new bands.

You can use your old ones, but you will get new ones too if you wish , you can decline them or upgrade to the newer options as available depending on availability for 10 - 15 dollars. I take my older ones for easier access to ME and get new ones when I arrive

Cool thank you for your replies! My little boy didn’t bring his home (he wanted to leave it there so stitch could find our house) so I think we’ll get new ones then, might even treat ourselves to the new fancy ones!
