I never book my seats in advance of OLCI.
I never get split up when travelling, mostly BA or Delta/KLM/Air France. |

Same here, I have never pre booked seats and we have always been together. Having said this, you have to accept that you may get split up.

If flying long haul economy, the chance of a party of 2 being split up on BA is very low.

I reluctantly paid for seats with BA this time as the wife wanted peace of mind as daughter is now 13 so didn't want us split up and she has to sitting next to a stranger. Got 4 of us in the middle. Smell of the food makes my lad ill too so have booked them far enough away from where they prepare the food too. £100 each way.

My daughter and I are not booking on the way out for the first time, trying not to fold and pay but for both our flights seats we want are £162 just one way . We have an early flight from Glasgow so we can book both flights at 06.40 am 24 hrs before hoping it is ok

We fly from a Glasgow too so get the pick of seats from London. We have always been lucky to get the rows of two at the back which we like.

For anyone with experience of flying with children on BA and not prebooking seats, am I right in thinking you can see what you have been allocated 5 days before or is it just a couple of days? Many thanks!
