10 nights with a toddler?
Looking at squeezing in an off-site budget trip this year, but due to annual leave we could only* do 10 nights this time. (*Realise still massively lucky to do so!)
Would you do an under two week trip with a toddler? We did two weeks last year and he adjusted fairly well to time difference so I'm not too worried about that, but do you think it's too much for a little one to go all that way? We'd be doing pool days, small attractions, maybe a Halloween party and one park day, basically we want a sunny fairly relaxed holiday but when I look at European prices I always end up thinking I'd rather be in Florida, but feel like it's conventionally a two week kinda deal! Anyone done a 'shorter' trip with little ones?

We did 12 nights with a 4yr old and a 5month old and wed do it again. No problems at all. 10nights would be my minimum but if you’re looking at it as more of a relaxing holiday than a parks holiday then definitely!

We have done 7, 8, and 4 x 12 nights with a baby/toddler/combination of both. The shorter trips were good and I'd do it again if we had date restrictions. It's a slower pace so you either have to plan well to cover the important things or be comfortable not getting to do everything you'd like.
My kids have settled in and enjoyed the trips regardless of length. |

Thank you! Yes we wouldn't do a full on trip this time (cos were greedy and may do it next year!) But want the sun, food and a bit of fun!

I think the children adjust better than us adults to time differences/jet lag/humidity etc. I would definitely do it as a more relaxing holiday.
We have found same re European prices v Florida prices. |

Yes I think so, he bounced back pretty quickly once home too, luckily!
Now to just work out what annual leave we can squeeze in!
