Get them to scan you for a bile leak.
The hot pain you describe can be associated with this. |

OMG this was me 12 months ago!
5.5 weeks before flying to WDW on to celebrate DD & DD's best friends 18th birthdays there I was 3.5 hours in surgery - I had 1 gallstone which was the size of an egg inside my gall bladder. It was a mess inside & was done keyhole but was stuck to liver & gut so couldn't be removed completely. So I have a little non working stump now. I had to have an ERCP too to have a bile duct stent and pancreatic stent fitted as one of my drains didn't stop draining. Oh and i ended up with pancreatitis and cholecystitis too as a result of the ERCP procedure (a known side effect). I only felt really crap twice. The first was when the trapped wind hit after the keyhole surgery - and I kept asking for gas & air as the IV paracetamol did nothing. They gave me Tramadol which I now know I am allergic to and will never have again. The second time was when we realised I had the pancreatitis and cholecystitis and my bloods were nasty indicating I had these and an infection. Cue a very large dose of antibiotics. Definately go back to the hospital which is what I did on the second time and all I could say was it didn't feel right inside... and it wasn't. I got to WDW even after 5.5 after the operation and had a fabulous holiday. Fingers crossed for you xxx
