DS2 went out to the welcome party with his flat mates and only drank water. He said it wasn’t a problem and he enjoyed the evening more than he thought he would.

My DS Spent his 2nd evening watching his flatmates getting drunk after playing some board games, he doesn't drink and didn't feel pressured to join in even though some of them did say they couldn't understand it! Still had a great evening, and luckily, being sober, was able to give some sensible advice when some of the group decided it would be a good idea to drive to McD's for an ice cream! 😲 He was quite shocked though when one girl was passed out drunk on her bed by 9pm! It has been quite a eye opener for him!

DS not sure what to do, anxiety level is quite high. If he does decide to come home can anyone advise what happens with his accomodation and his course? At this time Im not sure if he is deferring until next year or completely leaving the course. Obviously I hope he can stick it out, but seeing him so unhappy is awful. Im hoping today finds him in a good place and mixing a bit better with his flatmates, although most have been out every night till all hours, hes like this at a weekend but very rarely week nights. Hope everyone else is getting on great xx
