Aldi Pesto/ recall possible peanut contamination all supermarkets

DS a manager with Aldi has asked me to post
2of their pesto products have been recalled
As may have been contaminated with peanuts
Full details on the Aldi web site or bbc news site
All affected products can be returned to store for a full refund but advise due to time of year it may not be advisable if that’s all you are going into the store to do refund will be available for some time
Waitrose brands and other brands supermarkets may be affected
Please check especially due to some shortages of
Epi pens etc
Thank you for reading

Would be great if everybody could bump to keep it in the news so to speak rather than just like
Especially as it’s such a busy time of year for us all
I’ve amended the title

There is an article on the BBC - more widespread than just Aldi.

BBC News - Sacla', Waitrose and Aldi pesto products recalled over peanut fears

DS asked me to post as often we all have a quick meal of pasta fresh cherry tomatoes cooked down and pesto stirred through the pasta with Parmesan especial at this time of the year when everyone is busy or just wants a simple quick fresh cooked hot meal in 10/15 mins or use pesto instead of butter or mayo on a sandwich

I received an email from Ocado this morning saying that their records indicated I have purchased some pesto and not to eat if allergic to peanuts. I don’t think I have done an online shop there for nearly six months!
