Atlantis The Palm

We have decided on Atlantis The Palm for our anniversary trip in September 😀

Can anyone advise if this is a good time to visit?
Is it best to book a package holiday or direct with the hotel?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You x

Think another poster is going to Atlantis in September too, I’ll see if I can find that thread. September is a great time but still very hot but definitely much cooler than summer. Loads of tips and advice on the big Dubai thread.
Package or direct varies. Get a quote or two from agents (emirates holidays are good as are Best of Dubai) and then call the hotel and see what can offer (be prepared to negotiate with the hotel!)
Try and book imperial club as it’s definitely worth it IMO

We phoned. Over the years we have stayed in lots of places in Dubai inc Atlantis, Burj, Jumeirah Beach and always had the best deals direct

Hi Colette-S
As you’ve been to a few different hotels in Dubai can I ask if you would recommend the Atlantis? Or any other hotels? x

Yes Atlantis is great, particularly for a first visit. Plenty to do and see.
It can be busy but not overly so at that time. It’s a good all round resort. The Jumeirah Beach area is lovely too - JBH/Madinat/Al Qasr/Dar Al Masyaf/Mina Salam and the new (ish) Al Naseem. I’d avoid JBH for the time being due to building works but I’d highly recommend Al Naseem - it’s really beautiful.
For pure luxury, The One and Only/Royal Mirage or Beit Al Bahar are amazing. Very elegant, classy and understated. I’ve stayed in the Burj a couple of times and I wouldn’t return after trying others. I find it gaudy and brash - too in your face.
There are Lots of other lovely places too but Atlantis is a really good choice. Personally I always book club or the equivalent wherever I stay. If you don’t get half board you should look at the entertainer app which will save you a bit of money

Hi been in July for ten nights and booked for this July for ten nights too. It really is the most amazing place we cannot wait to return but I’ll be honest. I have kept an eye on prices many times , different months etc ( I do this with Florida etc too lol ) - anyway I’ve never ever seen it cheaper direct with the hotel - ever ? I can’t understand when people say they have (brill if they have doesn’t get me wrong )
It’s always been cheapest with emirates holidays for me.
We always price imperial club with half board - not sure if that’s what’s made it difference but any time I price room direct it’s the same price with emirates roughly including flights
