That is not how it ends, it is a small bit of the overall film.

The Railway Children - My daddy...

didnt even register when i watched this as kid but watching a few years back with my young daughter, i think there was something in my eye...

First one that comes to mind is harry potter and the goblet of fire when he brings cedric diggory back and the music dies down as they realise something is wrong and his dad runs down and is hugging him crying "my boy my boy"... welling up now at the thought!

i must admit I cry easliy at films now - have gotten worse as i've gotten older.
Tombstone when Doc Holliday is dying at the end.
Beaches - first time i saw this i was babysitting and the family came back and i was sitting there sobbing )
La Bamba when they tell his mum about the crash...
i could go on lol

me too.

Most embarrassing was on the plane, watching The danish girl, did't know about the ending, and was sobbing on the plane.
A flight attending came to aks me if I was alright

Also I embarras my 2 teens at the cinema all the time

I watched American Sniper for the first time over the weekend, those real life scenes at the end were so sad 😭
