Question Easter/Spring break 2022

Hiya!

Does anyone know if the 2 weeks of Easter 2022 are likely to be a bit quieter than most Easters as it is later in April and most of spring break should be over by then?

Thanks for your help

I think the theory is that when Easter is late, as it was in 2019, the Spring break and Easter crowds last longer, but are less intense. Spring break isn't the same across the US so I think the effect of a late Easter is perhaps not quite as significant as one would hope. That said, I've been tracking crowd levels regularly for a while now (sad, I know ) and it seems that Disney is more often busy than not busy...

I thought Easter was early next year? Our schools break up 25th March and we typically have the week either side of Easter, unlike a lot that have the first two weeks in April. But yes, most Spring Breaks are March although can happen anywhere between Feb & April.

ETA - just realised that it isn't in fact 2022 next year

Thank you

As you have been tracking crowd levels do you happen to know whether there is a huge difference in crowds at easter and Halloween? Trying to decide between the two...

I think Spring break and Easter are much busier than Halloween, but you can have a look for yourself - you can compare crowd levels across dates/parks/rides

I wondered this too. Easter 2022 would be really convenient... I'm beginning to think it's going to be busy whatever time we go. We last went 2015 in mid September and it was really quiet. No queuing at all but I think things have changed.

Easter 2022 is quite late, being 17th April. It was quite late last year too on April 21 and the crowd calculators have the parks still looking very busy, albeit not as busy as Easter 2018 when it was relatively early.
