Yes. With TSA locks. Have had items stolen before so won’t chance it now.

Not any more - had cases opened and checked sometimes with pre TSA locks removed and other times not and lost stuff when locks had been put back on - given you can buy a master key for pennies so a thief will get in by any means they want.

I am heavily insured and have claimed successfully in the past so not that bothered - bigger stresses in my life unfortunately

Always with TSA locks. Nearly always get one case opened and checked, but locks always put back on, and we wouldn’t know except for the bit of paper left in the case.

I have always locked my suitcases, as far as I know they have never been opened.

Oooh, lots of answers! I will review them all and discuss with Mr H

I guess we will have everything of value with us, and yes, we are also well insured. All food for thought...

Thank you x

We too use TSA locks, had them opened by TSA several times. They have always re locked them and left a note inside.

I have the Tripp case, but I don’t lock it. There’s nothing in there worth taking, unless they want my clothes which aren’t designer and are a few years old!

I always lock ours as much as to stop them coming own as anything. We have very cheap TSA locks from I think Asda and they have never been broken so far despite many searches.
I do keep all my valuables with me however.
