Anyone know how to set up a multi user email?
I volunteer for my industries local council (we arrange training sessions and social events for employees in our industry).
At the moment we use our work email address to communicate with the other council volunteers, industry members and suppliers etc. This communication can include sensitive data and with GDPR we feel that it’s time to set up a seperate email system that we access online so that the data is not held on work computers, phones or tablets etc. We’d need about 10 similar email addresses such as president@thenii.org.uk (we’d prefer org.uk as we are a non profit organisation and looks more professional than say gmail.com) I have no idea how to go about setting this up (only ever done my own personal email set up) Any tech people out there know how to go about this please Thanks

It depends if you intend to set up your own email server or pay for a hosted on such as rackspace/en-gb/email-hosting .
You can set up a raspberry pi to run as a mail server. If you intend to do this then you need to register a domain with someone like namecheap for less then £10 a year. This may not the best option for you if you have no tech experience. namecheap do also offer an email hosting service https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/email/ 1 year for the domain and 5 emails addresses would cost you arounf £50. |
