Space Mountain - Left or Right
Hi All,
We have just come back from Orlando and whilst we were there it dawned on us that there are 2 tracks on Space Mountain, the left and right. 90% of the time we had FP so ended up on the right hand side, but we also did standby and were placed on the left hand side. I think I preferred the left hand side, but that may have been because we only ride this side once and was new to me. What are your preference? Thanks |

I'm with you, i prefer the left hand side. It might sound crazy but i think its more intense... or maybe thats just me being silly

Done Both sides. And will say it is different as the left to the right you go in opposite directions. Which is best? both of them!

Guests are then deposited in the load area, where they can see guests aboard their trains departing every few seconds, all while mission control can be heard via speakers as they monitor spaceport activities. The queue splits up into lines for the two separate tracks: Alpha (left) and Omega (right). Both tracks are identical mirror images of one another, although Alpha's track is ten feet longer than Omega's, at 3,196 feet as opposed to 3,186 feet.

ah good to know! they do feel completely different rides, guess it feels different as we were used to riding one and not the mirror of it.

We prefer the right hand one. It feels that the big drop is slightly higher. However that maybe just an illusion.
