Upper Class Swap
Hi Guys
I have some seats booked in Upperclass and would like to swap these for Premium Economy. There are 5 of us traveling in August this year when I booked the reward seats I could only get 3 in PE but there were 2 in UC so I grabbed them. I keep looking but no seats in PE are ever available. I would like us all to sit together, does anyone have any ideas on how this could be resolved? Cheers Mark |

I don't think they will let you 'downgrade' your upper class seats without there being availability in PE. You could cancel your UC rewards at a cost of £30pp admin fee and then buy cash PE seats?

Just looked at the PE prices (assuming you're Gatwick on 4th Aug?). They're having a giggle! I'd just wait it out in the hope PE rewards become available...

The only way you can switch is if reward availability comes up. So unfortunately you’ve just got to keep checking and call straight away if any come up. You’ll get charged the admin fee.

Or you could ask a couple of people in PE on the day if they would like your UC seats? If you asked me I’d bite your hand off!

We have had that offer a few times. Never accepted it. We travel together come what may.

Hi Mark - it's only 9 hours and you can 'visit' PE for a bit chat by the galley, whilst ploating the snack cart I don't mean this harshly, for a 9 hour journey on the same aircraft is it really out of the question, if so, I'm sure a couple of Dibbers in PE on your flight will change, bear in mind seats may not be close to your party tho.
