Holiday balance payment

Anyone waivering like me about paying the holiday balance? It's not Florida but I have Avios tickets (refundable) but have a balance after small deposit to pay on rest of holiday.

Cant decide whether to pay or cancel and rebook later if all is well.

Thoughts?

I am only speaking for myself as I know this is controversial but we plan to carry on regardless until told otherwise. I cant be doing with what ifs, lifes too short.

I also am wavering but honestly I don’t know why as I will go unless literally the planes have been grounded, or the government advises otherwise.

Somehow it feels better to have the money in my account rather then paid off, but it is safely in a separate account so it won’t be accidentally spent

Probably should just bite the bullet and pay it

We’ll won’t change our plans unless the situation forces us to (travel ban, cancelled flights etc)

I’m waivering but DH is insistent we go.

I logged into my account to pay over the weekend but logged out again. Really not sure at the moment.

Can’t predict the future.. there is always something ‘going on’. Live for the present, who knows what tomorrow brings.

I've a package holiday booked for later this month. I reckon they'll refund if we are not allowed to go.
I would only worry about non cancellation hotel rooms.

My Disney balance is due Thursday and I am waiting until the last second in case anything changes. As it stands now though we will pay and hope for the best! I am hoping if it has to cancel most things would be covered by either insurance or by Disney (if they close for example...). I am nervous about going in less than 2 months if things are worse, but also you have to live your life and enjoy it.

We have booked for Majorca for May half term and Florida Keys for 3rd July. I will also be going unless they say we cant so will pay as scheduled. Our travel insurance will cover us if the FCO declare all but essential travel. I would be gutted to not go although I understand why people are concerned, I am a little but trying to keep it all in perspective.

More worryingly DD is scheduled to have a week in Milan in 3 weeks and DS is inter railing in Germany the second week of Easter school holidays. But they are both adults so will make their own mind up what they wish to do.
