It was absolutely fine. No different to any other airport
Went to the wrong floor for the car pick up as wasn’t used to it and the car collection garage was away from the airport which wasn’t a problem until we returned the car. We will be booking to fly again there for next year as we now love Miami ♥️♥️♥️

It’s fine, quick to get through and easy connecting to the car hire building. If you’re heading onwards the road links are pretty easy.
Beyond that, it’s the same as any other airport - a large building where time has to be killed before travelling to the next destination. |

No different to any other airport on arrival, flown into MIA in the middle of summer a few times and never waited any longer than 40 mins in immigration, car hire garage easily accessible via the Miami mover (monorail) On the way home the departure lounge after security is a bit meh, not loads going on but enough to do for a Starbucks or a sandwich. We usually get a Subway before security and take it through with us.

Its fine, we fly into there with BA, they always seem to be at the furthest gate from immigration! Not much after security though.

Agree with all above for our last couple visits, Subway is a good idea we did same last time.

Yep! We always pack shorts and flip flops in our hand luggage, and get changed in the toilet before you get the lift down to the floor to get the Miami mover!

Immigration was pretty quick compared to Orlando, bit of a walk to car hire but not too bad. My tip would be to make sure you’ve joined the car hire vip for whoever you’ve booked with, hertz gold, Avis preferred etc

When we flew into Miami we had little to no wait to get through immigration.
Was as pleasant an experience as you can have in an airport. Would fly in and out of there again for the right price |
