I've just seen that RF will be closed until "summer" for refurb.

We're going mid-May so it's likely to still be closed - does anybody know if the bananas foster Mickey Waffles are sold anywhere else (I don't fancy waiting until 2018!)?

I can see that other places at Wilderness Lodge are doing breakfast in its place but the menus haven't changed...yet!

If not, does anybody have any other good QS breakfast suggestions?

Hi,

There is a new place that has opened at Wilderness Lodge called Geyser Point which is primarily a bar/restaurant but also has a counter service window serving breakfast/lunch/dinner.

The Disney Food blog reviewed it recently here:

If you scroll down past the drinks & food pictures, there is a photo of the counter service menus (including breakfast). No banana fosters waffles though sorry

This place looks absolutely amazing.

Apart from Trader Sams, there cannot be any other eating facility in WDW with such a stunning outdoor location on the lake side.

Thank you! Really do want to go to Wilderness Lodge so may have to give this new place a go

I saw on DFB that they do a large Mickey Waffle at Contempo Cafe with banana and some sort of sauce so wondering if this might be similar...I think it's a good excuse to try both

Read the DFB report a couple of days ago - does look a nice place. Another one to add to the list for the summer!
