Great i'll try that and see, we aren't going to book until the beginning of next year anyway so we have some time to decide what we want to do.

I',ve booked Discovery Cove for the last day of our trip in August and can't wait to see the kids faces! My understanding of the DC site is that the Grand Reef is open to all ,so you could say snorkel above your kids doing the walking Sea Venture tour or vice versa. As far as i,m concerned if they do it i'll be there alongside to support them. After all it's not everyday you get the chance to pretend to be a deep sea diver!LOL

Just had an email back today from Discovery Cove as I was wondering when we could make reservations for SeaVenture and also wanted to know the cost.
They replied that I am unable to make reservations yet as they do not have a definite opening date for the Grand Reef. The Grand Reef is included in the park ticket price, it is actually replacing the old smaller reef, I didn't realise this. As for SeaVenture, if you want to do this then you have to pay an extra £59 for this experience. They told me to just keep checking back on their website, I think as soon as they announce the definite opening date, then they will begin taking bookings for the SeaVenture experience.

This opened yesterday I'm led to believe - We've booked to go to DC next month & I'd be very interested in anyone's thoughts who'd paid for the SeaVenture

Cheers
