so glad that this is going, this was the worst ride ever, I experienced terrible queasiness and strong headache that I couldn't go round the rest of the park on that particular day.

That's a shame its one of the rides that all the family can go on together, even the younger ones

Universal Orlando has announced on it's social network that Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast is to close.

To make room for something new Universal Orlando has stated that they will close the attraction for limited periods starting 1st April with the permanent closure slated as 18th August.

"The new attraction is just one of many exciting things planned for the next couple of years", Universal Orlando stated in their post.

No details were given about the new attraction but they said work would begin when Jimmy Neutron Nicktoon Blast is closed.

Have only been on this once and it made me so sick. I couldn't believe the effect it had on me considering all the other rides i've been on.

Kind of a shame it's closing - not a huge fan but thought it was very funny. Did used to worry about getting black eyes on it though

I for one won't be sorry to see it go,much prefered Hanna Barbera! I would expect that like Back to the Future/Simpsons it will just be replaced by a more upto date story & character. I have to say that sometimes "newer" doesn't mean better, with Jimmy & Stitch being 2 cases in point. 1 for is obviously Mummy but I would still have had Kong stay & say Twister get the chop.

We will miss this ride it makes us laugh every time we go on it, oh well all good things must come to an end. Look forward to seeing what will replace it.

Current bets have it being a Despicable Me ride.

In which case I see it essentially being the same ride but they will change the video and theming.

I have also read that across from it the Shrek 3D movie will be replaced with a "How to Train your Dragon" one.

Wasnt the biggest fan of it but hope they replace it with something fun. Not sure Im keen on the above of replacing Shrek with How to Train a Dragon
