Galaxy's edge and EMH

I know we are still in the dark about when/if we move from a virtual Q to FPs but I wondered if it has been confirmed that there will be morning extra magic hours at some point for on site guests?

I wonder if this will be the advantage that they give to on-site guests in the near future rather than FP? Will they just let on-site guests get in early one day a week to book up the boarding groups?

Disney has confirmed that morning EMH for Hollywood Studios will start from 5th April and continue on every Sunday after that. See the park hours for April (here). Of course, Disney could always change their mind between now and then.

Before April, HS has evening EMH on most Sundays. I'm not sure how this works with RotR?

So should that mean the 7am opening should have stopped by April?

At the moment, the 7am openings stop from 3rd February. From 3rd February onwards, HS opens at 9am. See the park hours page for more info:

https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/parkhours.php

Just to warn you though that yesterday Disney changed the park hours at HS for 27th Jan to 2nd Feb. The opening time during these dates changed from 8am to 7am. Therefore, it looks like Disney is still playing around with the opening times at HS. I expect things will continue to change over the next few weeks.
