Why is AK generally most recommended for a Sunday?
I've been looking through The Dibb calendar's (we are going October, so having to do quite a bit of guess work for now!) - why is Animal Kingdom generally most recommended for a Sunday? There aren't any rides we want to do outside our FP selections, but will be there for a full day. Good choice?
I have Monday or Sunday allocated for between Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs (have promised Mr Be a trip to Homecomin). Is Disney Springs horrid on a Sunday? And is it a great day for AK? Thanks! |

Can’t help with why it’s better on a Sunday day however I think a full day is a great choice! Animal kingdom is my favourite park! There’s so many great things to do other than rides. There’s animal walk through, shows ect! I think Monday or Sunday would be a good choice. I have been to Disney springs on a Sunday it’s not horrible but obviously busier than normal

Thanks Elsa! Would you do a day and a half AK? I'm trying to decide whether to split our Epcot day in half. I know lots of people love it, but my son is too short for Soarin so we will likely just do Test Track and Living on the Land.

I believe it's because it's the day after AK had EMH (Saturday). I'm afraid I can't help with the Disney springs questions. I would, however, add that having looked at the busy day guide on the Dibb, and other crowd calendars elsewhere, they sometimes contradict one another... so ultimately I wouldn't make my plans entirely on that basis.

The busy day guide always promotes the park that had EMH on the previous day. So as AK has EMH on Saturdays it is recommended on Sundays.

Weekends at DS can be really busy. Especially in the evenings. Friday and Saturday evenings being the worst.

Springs is usually very busy on a weekend. I tend to try and not go there unless it is very early morning from a Friday through Sunday.
