My wife takes packing to the extreme, if she hasn't started packing 2-3 months before then she gets worried

Heavy rain & gusty winds through Florida from Friday and parts of the weekend..then expected to pick up through the gulf

Only 2 weather systems today and as mentioned in the post above, the main system is due to come across Floriday tomorrow...localized heavy rain & gusty winds over the weekend but could develop into a tropical depression. US Hurricane Centre advise they expect it to cross Florida, however, most projections have it running the coast again and building on a similar path to Dorian.

Tropical wave just past the Cape Verde Islands, development expected through next week as it approaches the Lesser Antilles, rated at 70% chance of development - Long distance forecast from Windy is projecting it'll come along a similar path to Dorian but then go right after the Bahamas instead of along the Florida coast, this could and likely will change as Windy isn't overly reliable on distance forecasting.

On the windy long distance forecast there is the possibility of something starting to build near Cape Verde towards the end of next week, will keep an eye on that but we are in peak season now.
