We feel the same. I don’t want to be moved, I booked the hotel because that’s the one I wanted. When I enquired they said ‘if your hotel is impacted, we’ll be in touch’. Well I know it’s impacted because the closure dates are all over various websites. Think they’ve got a lot of the order of their communications back to front in all this.

I wonder what they're going to do with people in Moderates? I don't really want to move to CBR!

I think that’s where it will be, would be nice to get an upgrade but the way things have been I can’t see that happening

If they do like for like then it would either be CBR or Fort Wilderness (although I booked a garden view room and neither offer that so would it be a like for like?)
I mean considering CBR costed less than POR for the time we wanted to go wouldn't it be considered a downgrade? Going from All Star to AOA would be an upgrade as AOA is a more expensive value? Part of me wants to ring Disney today and ask but I don't know if they would know anything?

I'm on hold to Disney at the moment - supposed to be staying in POFQ. I need to cancel one of my room bookings anyway as 2 of our party can no longer travel due to recently diagnosed illness. But I also want to ask what will happen to the remaining room booking. Will let you know (if I manage to get through before I need to start work!)

Thank you! I was going to try and call them this morning so I will do the same if I get through!
Got a 167 min wait currently (no call back option) so by my lunch break I should be through!

Well, technically, you have until 27th June (this Saturday) to decide whether to proceed with your booking or not. So the information about whether your hotel would be open or not is available before you have to decide.
It is a bit of a chicken and egg situation though. Disney needs to know how many are keeping their booking and how many are cancelling before they can determine how many resorts they need to reopen. If 90% of bookings were cancelled then there's no need to reopen most of the resorts - just open one of each category and move people to those. If 90% of bookings remained then they'd have to reopen most of the hotels. So, in theory, Disney can only definitely tell people what they are planning to reopen once they know the numbers of people who will be staying onsite - and they won't know that for certain until this weekend.

I spoke to someone yesterday from wdtc UK and they said they found out the same time as we did. They don’t know where we will be offered but we will find out before we have to pay the balance (nice of them!) and if we’re not happy we get full refund. On that basis I’m going to accept and it gives longer to decide.
