Staying at the Yacht Club

We stayed in Sept 2018 and had a wonderful stay. Amazing upgraded view. Customer service was great and the room was perfect. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

My review is from 2017 but we stayed at the beach last year (2019) so may be some help. (We had wanted to book the yacht again in 2019 as we loved this resort but no rooms were available.)

We stayed at the yacht just as the refurb on the rooms and shop had finished. I could not fault the rooms. They were beautiful, spacious and lots of hidden extras such as luggage space under the bed. We’d stayed at the yacht and beach on a number of occasions but were really impressed with the refurb.

We loved the new shop and food area and were customer 2 on the day it opened. It was and still remains in my view a brilliant addition.

The location, pool complex and all the other resort benefits just make this hotel a firm favourite for us.

If I could I’d stay again in a heart beat.

We have stayed at BCV and BC quite a few times and also lucky to have stayed at the YC several times certainly given the choice we would choose the YC because of the balcony. Never had any issues at BC although mousekeeping was never that great. We once had an issue when staying at BC with Tui over the dining plan a CM Michael was superb and sorted out their error.

I have stayed at the Beach club many many times on my WDW family trips, but the YC will be my first solo trip deluxe hotel.

I wanted the YC because I like the fact you are promised a full balcony there - and also, there was no room at the BC!

Has anyone stayed there recently? I am due to be there end of Sept/beg of Oct and I am so excited but I only seem to reading bad reviews.

We spent two weeks at The Yacht Club back in November & our room was immaculate.
It is our favourite resort & of the three times that we have stayed there, we've never had an issue with the room or the staff.
The only issues we encountered on this trip was the appalling bus service, this seemed to be a problem not only at the YC as we found similar issues at other resorts when we went to visit them.
We will definitely be staying at the YC again.

Absolutely loved our time at YC this August. We still have a few hotels we want to try out but I think this will be our forever resort 😍 loved the location, rooms and general feel of the place!
