Magical Express after Dublin pre-clearance

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience of using Magical Express after pre-clearing in Dublin, specifically in relation to picking up your own bags or not? Would like to avoid waiting for our bags in the airport if at all possible.

You need to pick up your bags and take them to the magical express yourself, no matter where you’re flying in from.

No option for the yellow tags if pre-cleared? I thought if it's effectively treated as a "domestic arrival," Dublin flights might qualify.

You would have thought so but I think as we booked via a UK website we might be excluded from the yellow tags.

We did fly via Dublin last year with AA and are doing the same next year with AL.

I personally prefer to pick up our cases rather than wait until 3-4 hours later for them to arrive.

Having done this a few times, I can confirm that you will have to pick up your bags before you head to the Magical Express.
The good news is that you will already be land side when you do this so once you have picked up your bags you can head straight to the ME check in area.
