Very interesting. I was considering buying more points before shutdown but decided to wait. I wondered if ROFR would be increased as price per point reduces. I’ve not looked but presume price per point has reduced.

So does this mean that you’re pretty much guaranteed to get what you want?

Wow, I really wish we were in the position to buy in the next month or so.

Disney Vacation Club sales is closed. They normally have 30 to 32 guides that work from home, however, they are not even working because the support staff they use are not able to work. I am not expecting Disney to buy any contracts back while they are closed. Of course, you still have to get the seller to agree to your offer price. I think the focus for Disney will be to sell Riveria and make up for lost time even when they open back up. I don’t think they want to go through the paperwork and time to buyback a contract right now to then resell it when they need their guides to sell Riveria.

Same here. Although I wish the pound was stronger against the Dollar.

The other issue is the on-going significant increase in WDW Tickets and annual dues. This alone would be £3000 a year commitment for a family of 4 for 1 week on-site and increasing 10% a year

We have just had an offer accepted on some Polynesian points that have gone off for ROFR yesterday. So is this actually still taking place?

We have also put an offer in on some Copper Creek points (With Jason at Buy and Sell DVC), so fingers crossed if they both go for ROFR and it doesn’t take place, maybe they’ll be closed sooner rather than later!

The only trouble is getting them notarised here in the UK. I’d better do my homework to see if the man we’ve used previously, is actually working at present!

Anyone had a contract notarised in the UK recently (since lockdown)

I’ve never had to have a purchase notorized, only sales, but maybe it’s changed since I last bought resale (2 years or so)
