January cost

I am looking at car hire for a guest and the prices up to the 3rd week of January are much higher than I would expect. Does anyone know when the Christmas/New Year peak prices end?

With Alamo Brits if the first day is the 2nd Jan the price plummets. If the 1st Jan it's nuts.

What dates and car size are you looking for? A split rental would be best almost certainly.

I have tried quite a few different dates but they are looking for 4th - 20th Jan and it needs to be a 7 seater.

Ok. There will be many more suppliers to check but this will give a starter for ten

Alamo Brits �628.13 - 2 drivers
Virgin Atlantic �813 - 2 drivers
Andy �653 - 1 driver
Netflights - website not working!
Auto Europe �672 - 1 driver. (With Thrifty �618)

I would use Brits for the price they have.

Edit. Netflights working now. �612 - 1 driver. Only �644 for an 8 seater!
