Travel companies

I do feel sorry for all these travel companies
I know most are ruthless but nobody asked for this and it could completely cripple the industry through no fault of their own
If they would just open up the travel dates a bit further out than 11 months I bet most ppl would just reschedule and then they wouldn’t need to be refunding all this money.
Not quite sure of the point of me posting just thought I would say!

If they had offered 2 years on a credit note instead of 1 and it was government backed, then I would have taken a credit note from BA instead of a refund. Next year is my eldest sons A levels and therefore Easter is out due to revision and summer due to the University placement chase.

Otherwise, it was a refund or small claims court. They gave me the refund.

That also would have helped their cash too as if the credit note was 2 years some would have reached for next others the year after so maybe they wouldn’t have made loads of money but would have been in a better place!
