In the US people who were cancelled due to COVID were offered free dining to rebook I believe.

Disney have not given any idea yet what percentage of tables will be available in restaurants and at least everyone is in the same boat. It may all work out with decreased demand anyway.
We went in 2015 and 2017 and both of those were with 180 day dining so at least 5 years.

If all buffets are closed and all other restaurants have tables at least 2 meters apart then dining capacity will be significantly lower so I imagine they had no choice but to cancel all dining plans as they can’t physically accommodate all the people on the DDP.

I do think this has been removed now.

I just got off the phone with attraction tickets and at the moment the statement about removal of dining plans is solely for US bookings further information should come out today for UK bookings

Orlando Attraction emailed me back this morning. They apologised for not having more info. They hope to find out more over the weekend.

Kudos to them for replying though with what they have-they must be inundated and don’t know much more than us.
