Nope! And I stand to lose a rather hefty deposit, but I'd rather that than hand over any more money for such a reduced experience... We're saving our pennies for when things have settled, whenever that may be!

I’m not feeling the Disney vibe right now so it’s a no. We have dvc points to use otherwise I’d put it off a until 2022

We are due to fly on the 19th August. I’ve cancelled everything but the flights as I have to wait for netflights to cancel these. I really don’t want to go so praying they are cancelled!

I whilst we adore Disney I don’t think we will look to return within the next few years 😕
DH and I both have underlying health issues and wouldn’t want to go until there is a vaccine.
That’s just how we feel to be honest, and I know others will feel differently.

Jane 😊

Yes.

If the FCO allows and we are granted entry we will be on the plane either Sept 11th or Oct 30th.

Annual pass holders so no ticket cost, DVC accommodation already booked/paid for with dues, flight/car is £500 each. Eating out costs are reasonable.

If I can make a holiday of it it my back garden I can be sure I'll make a holiday of it over there.

For a parks holiday - no. It would be so far removed from the numerous parks holidays we've been so fortunate to enjoy. I really wouldn't want to experience "new Disney", as will be the re-opening experience.

It would feel so watered down to what we've been used to, and we'd be making comparisons all the time - it would be just difficult not to. The differences will be far more wide-ranging and impactful than those outlined in the opening post.

However, for one of quick week away in the sun, where we hire a house-with-pool and basically chill and potter, then I think I would, yes, although I'd be feeling very guarded about the travel aspect of the trip.

Well the crux is, as per the OP, whether you are going on a "Disney trip". Like part of my response, above, you've answered about a "Florida (no Disney/no parks) trip".

They're not the same thing.

No. Have cancelled Disney and if necessary will forfeit the 3k flights. If anywhere gets a major spike again it’s going to be Florida USA.
