Ticket prices are ridiculous and considerably less value than they were even a few years ago. However, we do do parks as much as possible and squeeze as much value from them as we can. If we want to go, we have to pay.

I bought the park tickets when 4 of us went in Sept 2017 and it wasn't that expensive (perhaps £2,400), so I won't be offering to buy 4 park tickets again
Doesn't account for the £600 difference but September 2017 the exchange rate was $1.35 to the pound as opposed to circa $1.21 to the pound today. Shame it wasn't 2007 when we had the lovely exchange rate of 2$ to the pound

Its roughly what we have paid for our tickets for next summer. It was a shock to my parents because they have only been to DLP so tickets are included in the prices of the hotel stay. They didn't realise you bought them separately even when booking with Disney.

Wow that's bonkers. Last time I went (2014) I only did the 6 park Flexticket (US, IoA, Seaworld, Aquatica, Wet n Wild & Busch Gardens) and I thought that was expensive at £217 - this year it's £400.

It'll be a long time before I go back to pay those prices.

Any of the kids earning would have to chip in, I’d love to just do Florida coast with a massive villa but we always have to do a few park days!

Edited to say it's 10 minutes walk to Shell beach. A great place to watch sunsets

I am thinking of doing this next time. Buying universal 14 day ticket and Disney annual passes for water parks then we could have 3 days at Disney water parks. Possibly 2 days at Disney for magic kingdom and Hollywood studios.

Yes we’ve had two holidays one at Bradenton to visit Anna Maria island and the other Cape Coral, first holiday we had a hurricane and the second we had red tide. But I’d be happy to sit in the villa and eat
