Mobile Child this year, adult next year

Hi, has anyone seen anything about what happens if your child this year will be an “adult” next year? My son is 9, but turns 10 in October and we’ve bought him a child ticket for both universal (through klook) and Disney (direct, although possibly cancelling this anyway).
TIA

We have never been asked for proof of age so with everything else that’s going on I personally wouldn’t be worried about it.

We had some old unused tickets which we took to springs a couple of years ago.

They changed them into new style cards and the child ticket they just converted it into an adult ticket without us asking.

Doesn’t really answer your question but I think they should be helpful given the current situation.

It will be fine
I always remember a caption on the Disney site saying Disney doesnt punish children for growing up
Loads of holidays will be delayed and changed, a child creeping over the age limit will be the least of their problems as the ticket was originally bought in good faith

hmm, ours was 2 this year but will be 3 next year - guess we will have to pay for a extra ticket above the 3 we have for our lost visit last month
