I have tickets ordered through Orlando Attraction Tickets. Balance was due 19/07/2020. If I do not pay for them by 10/06/2020 then the email I received says they will be cancelled. Does this mean that they will class that as me cancelling and charge me 25% or will they just be cancelled with no charge. My agreement with Orlando Attraction Tickets was to pay in July so they are the ones who are breaking the agreement. Can anyone confirm that I will not be charged if I do not pay by 10/06/2020. Up to now I have only paid £1 deposit on each ticket.
Thanks in advance for any advice as I find the email and terms and conditions quite confusing. |

Deposit / Instalment bookings - If you decide to cancel your booking before the balance is paid your deposit plus any instalments you have paid (if lower than the 25% of your order total) will act as the cancellation charge for your order.
Hi this is what I found. I read this as you’d only lose your deposit. |

I read this but was thinking this may still mean you lose 25% but would knock any installments off this amount as it would be unfair to keep more money from people who have paid installments ... it's very unclear

But if you cancelled your card how would they even get the 25%? Also I emailed today and changed my Disney universal switch to just universal and I haven’t had to pay a 25% cancellation fee or an amendment fee. I emailed and they were very helpful so I’m sure they could answer your question.

I was in this situation as had paid £40 deposit for 4 tickets and had paid in an additional £400. I was told that if I cancelled they would take the deposit plus my instalments upto 25%. The lesson is- never pay into these schemes, pay into a savings account instead! As it is, we have paid in full as still hoping to go in October.

My dilemma is as follows.
Paid a £20 deposit for tickets, but my September hotel/flight package is paid in full & not refundable if I cancel. I really don't want to go in September. If I cancel my park tickets & the holiday goes ahead, I have no park tickets. If the holiday is cancelled, I am tied in to going by September 2021. I changes my mind at least every 10 minutes. Any guidance would be gratefully received. PS At present my mind says, pay balance on tickets in the hope that the holiday is cancelled & we can go sometime in 2021. |

I would say that, as they are cancelling your tickets, then they should provide a full refund of any deposit paid and no additional charge.
But this is just a random person's view. I'm not a legal expert.

It's difficult to predict the future at the best of times so please take what I say with a pinch of salt.
I would guess that flights will have restarted by September. The hotels will almost certainly have opened by September. Therefore, at a guess, I don't think your TA will cancel your holiday and the holiday will probably happen in September - unless you cancel it. So it really comes down to whether you plan to cancel the holiday or not. If not, then pay the balance of the tickets. If you do plan to cancel the holiday, then cancel the tickets as well. (I'm in a similar position. We will most probably be cancelling our late August holiday. It means I will lose out on some money)
