Still haven’t finished the plan . Although booked a few more restaurants.
Not sorted out more pics yet either
The shame
Gainfully occupied doing Instagram posts though because of course that totally helps

Obviously

VERY happy to see this

Especially paying very close attention to the NOLA bit, especially as you’ve been kind enough to choose restaurants on my short list for next Feb

As I missed single digit dance day yesterday.
More shame

A couple of pics. All sourced via Google.

New Places we hope to see

Main Street Natchitoches

Old State Capitol Baton Rouge. A place that invoked Mark Twain’s displeasure

Driftwood Beach Jekyll Island

Hilton Head Lighthouse

The Starbucks in our hotel in Charleston

The European Village Palm Coast

And our amazing Airbnb place Bradenton

Keep calm and carry on planning

Just caught up with this, didn’t realise it had got so close! Looks like a fab trip, I will get to NOLA one day, just might not be until the girls don’t holiday with us any more.

Because it can never just be simple ...

Oh Deary me as these two would say ...

Yes, never mind Going in a Boeing with Air Scotia, It’s the Norwegian Hokey Cokey.

You’re in you’re out , lets shake the seating all about.

Yep. After all the smugness of booking so early to get a seat with good leg room we had the Hi Fly email on Monday.

The one that basically says bring your own tv, snacks, drinks and maybe a pilot too.

Ok

I exaggerate

But when I saw we had gone from the front row to row 50

Not happy

Am advised by customer service person that row 50 is in fact an exit row and should be v pleased.

Except I can’t find a single HiFly seat plan that even goes up to 50 rows.

Perhaps we are on the wing rather than next to it.

And bizarrely Norwegian are still trying to flog me an upgrade to premium economy . What the ... it doesn’t exist on HiFly : Unless they mean business class.

I’ve said we just wait now till checkin. Meantime, downloading loads of stuff onto iPads and filling the hand luggage with emergency snackage

To make myself feel better I have now bought a new holiday dress. Order has been restored and all is well in Wiley world.

^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^^

[And in the scheme of things for anyone who is reading this with Thomas Cook problems , I do realise it’s all rather first world woes. It’s been awful to see that unfolding for all involved ]

Hope you have a wonderful time
