October flights but no parks booked...

Am I right that I can't buy tickets for Disney this year? Noooo!

In which case can I still buy tickets for Universal? If I put a deposit down on tickets would they still be honoured if Universal decide to go down the same route do you think?

What would you do?

Thanks

We have deposit only tickets for Disney for October. I notice the supplier is only selling 2021 tickets now. I doubt these count as existing tickets so we are very much in same boat. Not sure what I will be doing but I don’t think I’ll be paying the balance (even if they can complete the sale) just to see if I can actually access the parks at 60 days out.

Our airline tickets are BA fly drive so only paid £300 so far. I suspect could get that back as a voucher. For the moment I’m sitting tight and seeing what happens, October is a long way off and we should get some idea of what’s actually available and how things are working before we have to make final payments. If Universal is open and working OK we’d probably think about still going, but I don’t intend to throw good money after bad and would rather lose what we’ve already paid rather than spend thousands more.

I have Disney tickets booked with a deposit only. Booked in July last year. I spoke to someone on live chat last night from Orlando Ticket Deals and was told I would still get the tickets I have booked.

I hope that’s true but I wouldn’t stake the house on it!

After talking to them today I made the decision to pay for my tickets in full and they have already been dispatched.

That's interesting. Because Orlando Ticket Deals are part of ATD and I contacted them and they told me the tickets were not necessarily secure and they were waiting for info from Disney. Booked them in July 19.
