Mobile Tickets and park capacity

I’ve just read on Attraction tickets FB page about park tickets being paid for and linked MDE by 10th of June or they’ll be cancelled as they can’t guarantee park entry?

We are booked with orlandoattractiontickets.com and don’t go until October so our £4K balance isn’t due until end August, we don’t want to pay it yet until we see how things go over next few months.

Anyone know what’s going on with that? Is this for everyone that had deposits down for Disney tickets for 2020?

The same information is on Orlando Attraction tickets Facebook page. Disney have told all sellers that payment should be made by 10 June. If you don’t pay by then OAT will cancel your tickets

Sorry to jump in, dd1 is confused about this. Her and her partner have a package booked with Virgin for September. Staying off site with disney tickets booked within package. Does anyone know how this will work? I have advised her to contact Virgin, if she can get through. Obviously she doesnt want to pay balance and then end up not being to use the tickets at any wdw parks.
TIA

Just realised I’d never ‘liked’ their fb page so didn’t see that 😂 they have replied to my email though to confirm this! I’m sooo annoyed by it!

Sorry don’t know. She will need to get the tickets or the codes for the tickets this month though so that she can link them to her account and reserve park days when that opens

What happens if you link the tickets and make reservations but then can’t go on holiday, due to restrictions. Does this count as activating your tickets or could they still be carried over to next year?

Apparently not, they are unused until you activate them on the first visit to a park. Any unused tickets can be transferred to a new ticket and stays valid through to Sep 2021...

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort!

The value of your tickets will always remain in tact. You may always apply the value of your wholly unused ticket towards a new ticket purchase. If you purchased Ultimate UK tickets, they are valid through September 30th 2021. We hope this helps and hope you are able to visit soon!

If you have any other questions or challenges, please do not hesitate to contact us by calling us at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639) or by chatting with us in the Help Center of the Walt Disney World® website (only available on the US site). Cast Members will be happy to assist you further.

I’m in exactly the same boat, I’ve tried ringing, tweeting, WhatsApp and Facebook can’t get hold of anyone and no one is replying without using the usual “if your holiday is not booked within the next 72 hours blah blah” it’s getting really frustrating...

This is only for people who have deposits for Disney tickets with third-party sellers.

The third-party sellers have not bought your tickets from Disney yet. They won't buy them until you've paid the full amount. Disney have stated that they have stopped selling tickets but have now said they will allow third-party sellers to continue to buy them up to June 10th. So, if you want to make sure you have tickets for a forecoming trip in the next few months, then you need to buy the tickets (= pay off the balance) before the date specified.

When the parks reopen you will need a park reservation *and* a valid ticket to enter.

Note that, at the moment, this only affects trips this year. You can still buy UK Disney tickets for 2021. It's possible that Disney may start selling tickets after the parks reopen again in July, but there's no guarantee when this will happen.
